Small Halls Festival picked up two awards at Festivals and Events Ontario’s annual awards ceremony Feb. 27.
Mayor Doug Measures and community culture and tourism coordinator Amanda Murray accepted the Top 100 Award for the fourth year running.
In addition, Tim Hortons received an Achievement Award for Sponsor of the Year in the budget of $100,000 or less category. This is the second consecutive year that the event and a festival sponsor have been presented with this award.
“Tim Hortons Stayner, Sunnidale Corners, and Creemore have been a valuable partner to the Small Halls Festival. They recognized the significant contributions that volunteers make to the Festival and have been supporting the ‘hallunteers’ for six years. Clearview is grateful to have many terrific corporate citizens in our community,” said Measures.
This year’s Small Halls Festival is taking place on Oct. 1-4. Visit www.smallhallsfestival.ca.
