Animals treated with care and respect

After reading the article regarding the opening of the Creemore Refillery, (Feb. 28 edition of The Creemore Echo, p. 8). I just want to add one thing. It’s great that people have somewhere to refill containers to help save on recycling but it also states that their products are “all natural, organic, vegan and cruelty-free.”
I would just like to point out that in our beef operation, along with the majority, our animals are treated with care and respect every day. So, as I sit and eat my farm raised beef burger I would like you to think about what natural products go into your Beyond Meat burger. I’m proud to be a beef farmer in Ontario.
