Apple pie red ribbon goes to Glenda Brown

Glenda Brown (left), pictured with judge Linda Cockton, won the 10th annual Creemore Apple Pie Contest on Oct. 8, held as part of the village’s Thanksgiving celebrations.

Tastetesters donated a total of $263 to sample the pies. Cockton, as honourary judge and apple pie expert, directed the funds to the charity of her choice, the Tree Society of Creemore.
