Avening WI celebrates milestones

In celebration of three anniversaries, Avening Women’s Institute (WI) hoist a Canada flag Tuesday on the newly installed flagpole at Avening Hall, the hub of the community and the (WI). 2017 marks, not only Canada 150, but also the 110th anniversary of the Avening (WI) and the 120th anniversary of the Women’s Institute in Ontario.
