Bogoslowski, John Leo

In loving memory of John Leo Bogoslowski, who passed away at the age of 56 in Midland, Ontario.  Beloved son of Aline (Hebert) and John Bogoslowski Sr. (predeceased), and brother to Lisette Bogoslowski   John is survived by two fine sons, Turner Bogoslowski (Maggie Paterson) and Garnet Bogoslowski (Michelle Menecola), his lovely daughter Lucienne Pothier-Bogoslowski, and step-son Gabriel Pothier-Maudsley (Nicole Winter).  Sadly missed by Allison Woodley (mother of Garnet and Turner) and Michelle Pothier (mother of Lucienne and Gabriel). John will be greatly missed by his niece and nephew Amanda and Dylan Provan, and remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

John was a quiet, introspective man, with a passion for music, literature and crossword puzzles. We remember him as an accomplished musician, a talented amateur chef, and having an outstanding skill for fine woodworking. Friends will always recall his love for his family, and his remarkable resolve in the face of adversity.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, June 22, 1-4 p.m. at the Avening Community Centre. Those who wish to pay tribute to John are invited to make a donation to a charity of their choice.
