Bryant, Juliana

 In Obituaries

It is with great sadness that we announce that Juliana (Lana) Bryant Falk died on Saturday, January 27, 2018. She was 77 years old. She died peacefully at home with her three children by her side. She will be dearly missed by Colin (Sinead), Lara (Chris) and Samantha (Tony), her siblings Luise (George), Tom (Gail), Jennie (Alex), all of her nieces and nephews and her darling grandchildren Sam, Zoë, Evi and Ella (her little chickens).  It was being in the company of friends and family that gave her the most joy.

Lana was born in St. Catherines, Ontario in 1940. She lived in more than 20 cities throughout Canada, but in 1996 she moved from Toronto with her late husband (Dr. Rudy Falk) to the Creemore area and has considered it home ever since.  Lana loved Creemore; she devoted much of her time volunteering at local charity events and looking out for the village’s best interest.  She could often be found having coffee at Norma’’s, socializing with her friends at book club, bridge and dinner parties and taking long brisk walks around town. Lana was an incredibly positive person, who always lived in the moment. When people think of her they will remember being greeted at her door with open arms, her beautiful smile and and infectious laugh.

A Celebration-of-Life will be held at the Station on the Green (10 Caroline Street) in Creemore on Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Royal Victoria Hospital or Collingwood General and Marine Hospital. Friends may visit Juliana’s online Book of memories at www.fawcettfuneralhomes.com.
