It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Toni Burleton on Friday, November 2, 2018, at the age of 79. After a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s, she died peacefully with her family by her side.

Toni was passionate about many things, including golf, tennis, long walks in the country, wine, animals, and music.  She was an active participant in her church as well as with multiple charitable causes.

With her husband John and the kids in tow, Toni spent much of her time moving around Canada including Senneville QC, Thunder Bay, Rothesay NB, Calgary, Vancouver, and Oakville, before finally settling in Creemore.  Toni always created warm, loving homes for the family and made many friends along the way.  Throughout her life, she held a special place in her heart for Knowlton QC where she grew up.

Devoted wife to the late John Burleton, Toni is lovingly remembered by her children Stephen (Heather), Derek (Isabelle), and Margot, as well as her grandchildren Brendan, Jeremy, Mathieu, and Olivia.

Visitation was held at Turner and Porter, Yorke Chapel on Thursday, November 8, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.  A celebration of Toni’s life will be held at Turner and Porter, Yorke Chapel (2357 Bloor St. West – Bloor Ave. and Jane St.) on Friday, November 9 at 3 p.m.  A reception will follow at 16 Bell Royal Court, Etobicoke, ON, M9A 4G6.
