Clearview council will lose one of the better ones

I was disheartened to read that Shawn Davidson will not seek re-election as a councillor referencing that he can no longer work under the current leadership. 

What a shame that council will be losing one of the better ones! Perhaps he might reconsider, remembering that the current leadership has (Freudian slip?) had no experience when they ran for their positions. 

At the very least, I am hopeful that some other socially conscious individuals might throw their hats in the ring to give the mayor and deputy mayor a “run for their money” and possibly improve the atmosphere that influenced Mr. Davidson’s decision.
