Creemore art gallery shows Canadian Pride
Mad and Nosy Gallery is marking Canada’s 150th with an exhibit of artwork that is all about Canadian Pride.
The pieces, hung in a grid on one wall of the gallery, make up a portrait of Canada as seen by many perspectives.
Artists from all over Canada submitted 46 pieces depicting wildlife, landscapes, and other more abstract images. In the spirit of the Creemore-Centric show, artists were invited to submit pieces on canvases either 12-by-12 inches or 12-by-24 inches. The former are all on sale for $150 and the latter are on sale for $300.
Artists submitted various paintings, photography, decoupage and glasswork. The show continues until July 31.
