Creemore bus route begins Oct. 3

The Creemore bus route is starting on Oct. 3. Clearview Public Transit Route 2 will service Creemore four days a week, Thursday through Sunday, operating hourly from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The route includes nine stops starting at the corner of Mary and Nelson Streets (stop 1) at the top of the hour. Route 2 takes riders across Creemore and ends at the Clearview Administration Centre in Stayner at 40 minutes past the hour before returning to Mary Street and resetting. Bus stop signs are being installed this week.
Riders can transfer to Route 1 at the Clearview Administration Centre after a 10-minute wait. Riders can also connect with the Simcoe LINX transit service to Barrie at the Clearview Administration Centre at 42 minutes past the hour.
Riders can transfer between Route 1 (Stayner/Wasaga Beach) and Route 2 (Creemore) at no extra cost. Clearview Transit users can travel through Creemore on Route 2 for free during the month of October (not applicable to Route 1).  Regular fares of $2 will take effect as of Nov. 1. Monthly passes are also available.
