Creemore minor baseball caps off season with awards banquet

Creemore Minor Select Baseball capped off its season with an awards banquet and dinner.

The Creemore Minor Select Baseball League’s Dedication to the Game award in honour of Myles Morrish was granted to Tom Gateman for all of his efforts, dedication and time spent assisting in every way possible with the York Simcoe Select Playdowns Tournament that we hosted in August.

Both the Peewees and Mosquitos had outstanding seasons with the Peewees ending their season with a record of 14-2-2 that landed them in second place in the North Division of York Simcoe. The Mosquitos finished off in 1st place in the North Division of York Simcoe with a record of 10-4-0. Then both teams highlighted the season by making it to the finals in all of the York Simcoe Divisions Playdowns.

We are extremely proud of everything that these two teams brought to our small, yet mighty, organization. We are also very thankful and full of gratitude for all of the coaches, volunteers, parents, grandparents and hometown fans for all of their support. We look forward to our expansion next year.
