Curran, Margaret Joan (née Kinghan), Died suddenly on Friday, November 8, 2019 at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket in her 84th year. Marg, formerly of Stayner, beloved wife and best friend of the late Allan Curran for over 62 years. Loving mother of Cynthia (Fred Lawson), Douglas (Mary), Candace (John Widdis) and the late Mitchell. Cherished grandmother of Anita (Steve Morrison), Janice and Crystal Lawson and Emily and Austin Widdis. Dear sister the late Rea (the late Betty), the late Sam (Mary), the late Victor (Lee) and sister-in-law of Arnold (Inger), Frank (Nellie), the late Dalton (the late Lois), the late Gordon (Pat), the late Shirley (Dave Fachnie) and the late Walter (the late Rose). Marg will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews, her friends and her neighbours. Marg was a caring woman who was strong, courageous and independent and who never gave up. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 from 2-4 and 7 -9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1 o’clock. Cremation with interment Creemore Union Cemetery.
