John Leslie Danko passed away peacefully on Thursday August 22, 2019 surrounded by the love of his family at the Collingwood Nursing Home in his 89^th year. John, beloved husband of Rose; proud father of Kathy (Tom Blockdorf) and Lesley Danko (Steve Crockett); cherished grandfather of Hunter, Justine, Hailey, Cameron and Daulton and great grandfather of Sophie will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed. He is predeceased by his sisters Mary and Elizabeth. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held.
