December activities at Creemore Legion

December is a busy month so plan to participate in a variety of seasonal activities close to home.
The month’s activities at the Legion start Dec. 3 with the Monthly Members’ Meeting at 7 p.m.
Every Wednesday at 7 p.m. features Ladies Darts; Thursdays at 1 p.m. there is Bid Euchre and Fridays host Mixed Darts at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome to participate!
Saturday Dec. 7 – After the Santa Claus Parade, get ready to boogie at the Creemore Community Jingle Ball beginning at 7.30 p.m. (Ages 19+). Tickets cost $5 in advance and $10 at the door. For info, contact natalieagraves@gmail.com.
On Sunday, Dec. 8, you can stroll through the Christmas Farmers’ Market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with its many vendors, Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers.
Saturday, Dec. 14 sees the second Farmers’ Market of the month, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Don’t miss Sunday, Dec. 15 when The Legion’s Creemore Country Christmas Breakfast takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Join your family and neighbours and come hungry! (Cost: Adults, $7; Kids under 12, $4.)
The final December Creemore Farmers’ Market is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21, and at noon the Legion’s 50/50 will be drawn. Tickets are available at The Creemore Echo, Bank Café, Pharmacy, Quince, Affairs Café, The Old Mill House Pub, Creemore Springs Brewery and the Legion. You can’t win without a ticket!
Wednesday, Dec. 25 at 4:30 p.m. welcomes the Annual Creemore Community Christmas Dinner. Freewill contributions gratefully accepted. Donations also appreciated. Please register at creemorechristmaself@gmail.com or call Donna Baylis at 705-466-2523.
