Drug, tobacco charges laid in Clearview

Two Clearview Township men have been arrested for possession of illegal marijuana and tobacco. 

Huronia West OPP executed a search warrant Nov. 8 at a residence on County Rd. 91. During the search police took 15,000 grams of marijuana and 16,500 cigarettes.

The men arrested are 54 and 47 years old. They are accused of: adult possession of illicit cannabis adult possession for the purpose of distributing; adult possessing cannabis for the purpose of selling; adult cultivate, propagate or harvest a cannabis plant that is from seed or plant material that is illicit cannabis; possession of unmarked cigarettes; possession of unmarked cigarettes for sale.
