Community barbecue and celebration of the tulip bloom at the Stayner Fountain Park, on the corner of Oak St. and Highway 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 18 (Rain date: May 19.) Free admission.

Starting in 2019, 450 “Liberation75 Tulip” bulbs were planted by volunteers from the Brentwood Horticultural Society, Creemore Horticultural Society and the Stayner Garden Club. The Liberation75 Tulip is an early-mid blooming hearty flower, that is bright orange with crown-shaped petals. Since 2016, Clearview Township has planted commemorative tulips and hosted a Tulip Celebration in May.
