Historical plaques planned for churches

Thanks to the help of many people, the project to erect more heritage plaques in Creemore is moving ahead and 16 locations have been selected. Among them are plaques for each of the four churches – the Creemore Baptist Church, St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, St. John’s United Church, and St. Luke’s Anglican Church.

For possible use on these church plaques, project coordinators are looking for additional images, not of the church buildings, but of activities that reflect something of the life and service of the church over that last century and more. They are looking for old photographs or printed programs – of church celebrations, special services, Sunday school classes, church programs or social events.
