Join Stayner Hitmen Lacrosse for Pink in the Rink

Stayner Hitmen Lacrosse midget team members Jasper Coward (from left), Mitchell Goodfellow and Shane Peirce show off the pink jerseys the team will be wearing at Pink in the Rink at the Stayner Arena on August 1. An exhibition game against Arthur Aces will take place at 7:30 p.m. as a fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society. Admission costs $5 per person. The team is hope to fill the arena with an audience dressed in pink to support the cause. Players said the team wanted to do something to highlight lacrosse and raise money for an important cause.
