Kneeshaw, Douglas Bruce

Douglas Bruce Kneeshaw passed away peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Blue Mountain Manor, Stayner at the age of 83. Bruce of Stayner, beloved husband for almost 60 years of the late June Kneeshaw. Loving father of Dan (Patricia), Ed (Carole), Janette (Keith McQueen) and daughter-in-law Mary Lou. Cherished grandfather of Christine (Ed Tjeerdsma), Trent Kneeshaw (Ashley), Stephanie (Cam Towers), Chad Kneeshaw (Ginny MacDonald), Tori, Devin and Laird McQueen. Great-grandfather of Isaac, Eva, Cora, Thomas and Kathleen. Dear brother of Gwen Thompson (Bernie Laughlin). Bruce will also be missed by his many friends and neighbours.  A special thank you is extended to the staff of Blue Mountain Manor and Dr. Recoskie for their exceptional care. Friends were received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Funeral Service was held at Centennial United Church, 234 William Street, Stayner on Wednesday, May 2, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment Stayner Union Cemetery. If desired, donations in Bruce’s memory may be made to Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation for Campbell House or the Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation for the Cancer Care Centre.
