Lisle to host NDBL all-star games July 9

The 2016 North Dufferin Baseball League all-star games will be played at Lisle’s Ross Houston Memorial Park Saturday, July 9.

The two games, one for the senior division and one for the junior loop, will begin at 1 p.m. with the East Division taking on the West Division in the senior game.

The junior contest featuring “High Heat” and “Chin Music” follows at 4 p.m.

Players selected for the West Division include: Tristan Cabral, Dan Morningstar, Derek Scharnhorst from Clearview; Eric Orser, Brandon Watson, Bryce Watson from Creemore Barons; Tom Gateman, Ethan Henry, Glenn Patterson from Creemore Braves; Jeremy Fernandez, Tyler Plumpton, David White from Ivy; Kris Allary, Travis Hall, Brennan Horan from Lisle; Devon Caldwell, Logan Wallace from Mansfield; and Chris Greer, Trevor Martin, Jake Nicholson from New Lowell.

Managing the team is Jesse McIntyre of New Lowell. Coaching duties are assigned to Vance White of Ivy and Chris Esson from Clearview.

The East Division will include: Colin Kelcher, Cole Quinlan, Joshua Wheaton from Alliston; Brad Crosby, Daniel Lehmkuhl, Stephan Vallee from Aurora; Adam Foote, Brandon Tippin, Matt Van Geene from Barrie; Shawn English, Michael Gemmiti, Colin McKeen from Bolton; Nick Boyd, Tyler Boyd, Nathan Dix from Midland; Kyle Hall, Eric Jones from Nobleton; and Kevin Buck, Drew Huerter, Mitchell Pike from Orangeville.

The team will be managed by Ian Rettie of Aurora with assistance from Ron Dipalma of Bolton.

The junior game will be seven innings in length compared to the senior contest at nine as only four teams make up the division this year.

Making up “High Heat” include: Jackson Bunn, Blair Bridge, Kirby Smith from Ivy; Jeff Christman, Jake Currie, Trevor Foster from Mansfield; Sam DeCock, Jake Flower, Tim Woodford from Midland; and Brant Dubeau, Nathan Lennox, Brandon Peart from New Lowell.

Joe Patterson of New Lowell will manage with David Metz of Mansfield coaching.

“Chin Music” line-up will include the following players: Lennon Gowan, Brayden French, Konar Smith from Ivy; Bailey Durocher, Stuart Manson, Jordan Metz from Mansfield; Nathan Gaines, Liam Woodford from Midland; and Tyson Pendleton, Jeff Roberts, Evan Tuckett from New Lowell.

Managing the team is Eric French of Ivy with Frank Woodford of Midland and Corey Tuckett of New Lowell coaching.
