David Albert Charles Mackey passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto at the age of 76. David, loving husband of Thelma (nee Sanderson). Dear father of Tammy and her husband Gord Zeggil, Terry and her husband Paul Jamieson and Tim and his wife Paula Mackey. Survived also by his sister Jean and her husband Neil Metheral, and mother Donalda Mackey. Cherished grandfather of Tristan Zeggil (Ashley Leimgardt), Tahnee Scott (Colin Scott), Tanner Zeggil, Cody Jamieson (Jessica Reid), Shannon Jamieson (Matt Waghorn), Wade Mackey (Brianna Wilson), Taylor Mackey and Cole Mackey (Alex Lamberti). David is pre deceased by his father Charlie Mackey. A Celebration of David’s Life will take place on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at the Creemore Legion from 1 to 5 pm.
