Mad River Golf Club ladies raise $9,000 for Gilda’s Club

The Ladies of the Mad River Golf Club held a Think Pink event August 29 in support of Gilda’s Club Simcoe-Muskoka. Nancy Missouri (centre), winner of the Pink Lady Surprise Box grand prize, pictured with event organizers Alexa Usher-Jones (left) and MaryLou Morgan, is in store for a day of pampering, gifting, shopping and dining in Creemore. Many downtown businesses donated prizes for a day of pampering; Creemore Detailing, The Strandz, The Bank Café, Cut Flower Co., Cardboard Castles, Creemore Village Pharmacy, Seasons, Clearview Tea Company, 100 Mile Store, Curiosity House Books, Heirloom 142, Victorian Values, Chez Michel and Jug City. The event raised more than $9,000 for Gilda’s Club in Barrie.
