Motorcyclist succumbs to injuries from October crash

A Waterloo man did succumb to injuries sustained in a collision in Mulmur on Oct. 19. 

Dufferin OPP are now confirming that Dale Hoch, 67 years old of Waterloo, Ontario, died on November 23 in a Toronto area hospital.

Dufferin OPP were called to a serious collision Oct. 19 at the corner of Airport Road and Dufferin Road 21, where a minivan had collided with a motorcycle just before 1 p.m.

A preliminary investigation revealed that an eastbound minivan travelling on Dufferin Road 21 failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a northbound motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle was immediately flown to a Toronto area hospital by Ornge Air Ambulance.

The driver of minivan sustained minor injuries.

The collision remains under investigation and no charges have been laid at this time.
