Next tennis tourney Aug. 11

Sixteen players of all skills and abilities participated in a Creemore Tennis Club open tournament this past weekend, with Andrea Hubert and Peter Emond coming out victorious.

The club’s next tournament will be on August 11, an open round robin for all skill levels.

The club also completed the spring kids lesson program, with 20 kids in three age groups enrolled since May. The Kids Summer Tennis camp commenced with 10 kids having fun and learning the game over five mornings.

Memberships to the club can still be purchased at the Curiosity House Books. All lesson programs are taught by certified tennis coaches from Simcoe Tennis. Private lessons can also be arranged through the club.
