Queen motherload of entertainment

 In Community

In honour of Queen Elizabeth’s accession to the throne on Feb. 6, 1952, we have pulled together some special collections featuring “All Things British” in the Clearview Public Library.
Housed in the Stayner Branch is a very special selection of British TV Series including everything from Above Suspicion to The Doctor Blake Mysteries to The Vicar of Dibley.
Our rotation from the Simcoe County Library Co-operative has also just landed in on our shelves and available now is a double order of “new-to-you” DVDs and Blu-Rays.
If you are in need of entertainment, pick up the phone and place an order for a curbside pick-up appointment. (Call Creemore at 705-466-3011, New Lowell at 705-424-6288 and Stayner at 705-428-3595).
If you are unsure of what is in stock, take a chance by checking out one of our Blind Date with A Paper Bag Packages. Library staff, including, Shannon Lougheed (pictured), are now very skilled at choosing library materials that you will hopefully enjoy after ascertaining your likes and dislikes.
The Ontario Stay at Home Order will be effective for the next several weeks. This means that you have the perfect excuse to have a cup of tea with a crumpet while you binge TV watch in the name of staying safe and in your bubble. Enjoy with compliments of your library.
