Say no to wind turbines, yes to the sounds of birds

I welcomed my neighbour back from a winter in Texas and asked him how he liked being home again in Clearview. His response was startling, sobering and very sad. He explained that he was delighted to be back home and wake up to the sounds of chirping birds. I kind of gave him a strange look. He went on to explain to me that Texas is full of wind turbines and there are no birds because of them.

I take for granted the lovely sound of the birds when I wake up in the morning. A sound that makes me happy it’s a new day.

Say no to wind turbines and say yes to the sounds of the birds.
