Simcoe Pride strategy begins with survey

Fierté Simcoe Pride is launching its strategic planning consultations leading up to its first ever five-year strategy with the goal of creating a strong and sustainable future for the organization, strengthening its work and building community.

These consultations will take place in two steps. The first is a survey targeting the community, including members-at-large, partners and sponsors, and municipal governments. It will be followed up with interviews with members of these groups as well as other partners in Pride throughout Canada. All the data will contribute to the final strategy.

Once the data has been compiled and examined, the board of directors will submit the report to the membership at the 2018 Annual General Meeting. This will be followed by a public launch of the Official Strategy.

This Strategy is being made possible through the Capacity Building stream of the County of Simcoe Arts, Culture, and Heritage Grant received in 2017. It will ensure the continued growth and success of Pride for years to come.
