Snowmobiler seriously injured in crash

A 27-year-old man was seriously injured in a snowmobile accident on Jan. 25.

The driver was on private property when he lost control and was thrown off the vehicle. 

He was transported to hospital with serious life threatening injuries.

Weather conditions and speed of the snowmobile were factors in the accident.

Huronia West OPP, Clearview Fire Department and Simcoe County Paramedic Service responded to the single vehicle accident. Police are reminding operators and passengers to wear the proper safety gear when riding motorized snow vehicles.
