Spicy cooking demo benefits shelter

The Gorgeous Spice Company has organized a virtual event to benefit My Friend’s House shelter for women and children.
The Gorgeous Giving Festive Food Night on Dec. 20 will be a cooking demo with celebrity chef Devan Rajkumar – private chef, host of LCBO 5 Stops and regular guest on Cityline – along with a few guests.
Chef Dev has a really special holiday recipe that he is planning to share, which will be provided in advance for those who wish to cook along.
“While we’re an online company and ship our product across the country, we have had really wonderful support from members and customers here in the Creemore, Mulmur and Collingwood area so I really wanted to do something for the community to give back,” said Lindan Courtemanche. “Chef Dev immediately said yes when we suggested doing a Zoom together to raise money for the event.”
The experience will also include cocktail expert and Grey Goose ambassador Steph Lamb, who will share a fun seasonal cocktail, and a trivia game challenge.
