Stayner high school hosts Grade 8 info night

Stayner Collegiate Institute is holding a Grade 8 information night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 29 for those students going into high school in the fall.

In high school there is an emphasis on planning for post-secondary and career pathways, opportunities to get involved in a wide-range of sports, activities and clubs, develop independence and responsibility, time management and organization.

Simcoe County District School Board says there are many courses to choose from and high school offers students opportunities to try new things, and discover interests, skills and strengths and explore career options.
