Tim Hortons’ Smile Cookie proceeds benefit local causes

Tim Hortons is kicking off its Smile Cookie campaign, which begins Sept. 17, when all proceeds from the sale of $1 smiley face chocolate chip cookies will go to charity. In Clearview, sales at the Sunnidale Corners location will be split between Georgian Triangle Humane Society (GTHS) and The Door –  Above, from left: GTHS executive director Sonya Reichel and The Door volunteers Brenda Young, Brian Torrie, and Ellen Craig pose with Tim Hortons owner Ann Murphy and director of operations Amy Bennett – sales at Cashtown Corners and Stayner will go to the Eat Well to Excel programs at elementary schools in Creemore, New Lowell and Stayner.
