Two people injured in serious Mulmur collision

Dufferin OPP responded to a serious collision on Airport Road between Highway 89 and 5 Sideroad in Mulmur on Nov. 14, with Rosemont Fire Department and Dufferin EMS also responded.

Two sedans were involved in the collision and one vehicle caught fire. A driver of one of the vehicles was trapped for 20 minutes before being extricated by firefighters. Two occupants of vehicles were taken to an area hospital with life threatening injuries and one of the injured parties was flown to a Toronto area hospital.

Airport Road was closed for several hours to allow for investigation.
