Youth Centre opens Feb. 22, attendance capped at 10

 In News

The Clearview Youth Centre will reopen to Clearview youth on Monday, Feb. 22.
The centre will reopen three nights a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a maximum capacity of 10 youth.
The centre continues to implement safety procedures and guidelines as required by the province and the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit.
The Youth Centre’s capacity, facility cleaning procedures, programming and weekly schedule have been altered to meet the guidelines established by the province under the Red/Control threshold of the COVID-19 response framework: keeping Ontario safe and open.
Both staff and youth will be screened for symptoms of COVID-19 before being allowed entry, are required to wear a face covering, sanitize their hands before entering, and leave contact information for contact tracing. Once inside youth will be assigned to one of two spaces, each with a dedicated bathroom, where they will physically distance from one another for the duration of their visit.
For those not comfortable with attending the Youth Centre the activity kits will continue to be offered.
The Youth Centre looks forward to safely serving our community’s youth. For more information, or to request an activity kit, visit www.discoverclearview.ca/youth-centre.
