Developer pitches plans for Stayner plaza

The public heard plans for a commercial development at the corner of Highway 26 and County Road 91 in Stayner during a public meeting Monday.

On behalf of the property owners Parduman Dhillon and Bhupinder Kang, Armoclan Engineering is requesting a rezoning that would allow two residential lots to be developed into a two-storey commercial plaza development at the northwest corner of the intersection.

The plans, still in the early stages, would include second floor apartments.

One person expressed concerns about drainage, garbage collection and critters.

The proposed development is under consideration by Clearview council.
