We need you more than ever
During this year’s subscription drive, we are putting an emphasis on welcoming new subscribers.
Like other newspapers, The Creemore Echo continues to lose revenue from traditional forms of advertising as the big companies transition away from print advertising.
So, it is more important than ever that we build our subscription base.
It may seem counterintuitive for those of you who already receive the newspaper to pay for something that comes free of charge to your mailbox each week.
The truth is we are facing rising costs from Canada Post and subscriptions help cover the cost of distributing the newspapers to mailboxes.
The Creemore Echo is an important part of life in this community and we want to make special mention of the people who keep our doors open.
Here are this week’s champions, boosters and new subscribers. And, a special thank you to everyone who are long-time subscribers. We couldn’t survive without you.

An annual subscription costs $49 per year, which includes an early bird electronic version every Thursday evening.
A booster, with a contribution of $75 per year, is a keen promoter of community and the newspaper, someone who wants to give a little extra boost of encouragement.
A champion, with a contribution of $100 or more, is someone who champions our mission to share the community’s stories, celebrate its accomplishments and promote local business.
Fred and Trina will be at the Creemore Farmers’ Market on June 11, the last day of our subscription drive, accepting subscriptions and selling Creemore Echo T-shirts. Hope to see you there!
