Valedictorian – Grace Millsap

The graduating student selected by the Grade 8 class and/or by the staff to speak at the graduation ceremonies on behalf of the graduates. This student should display the qualities of outstanding citizenship and skill in public speaking.

Creemore Legion Music Award – Grace Kennedy

Presented to the student or students whose attitude, cooperation, effort and achievement is exemplary in instrumental music.

Outstanding Citizenship Awards

Presented to students who most exemplify the qualities of good citizenship (honesty, cooperation, diligence, friendship, support of peers, positive attitude) throughout the year.

French Award – Emma Woodhouse

Presented to the graduate who exhibits a strong performance in oral communication, reading and writing.  This student has strong communication skills in French, demonstrates an understanding of the nature of the language and shows an appreciation for French culture in Canada and other parts of the world.  This student achieves academic excellence, actively participates in French class and is a positive role model for the French language.

Presented to the boy and/or girl who have demonstrated superior sportsmanship, athletic ability, leadership and participation. Consideration is given to performance in intramural and extra-mural sports, classroom physical education classes and low organization games and activities during non-assigned times
