10th Jim Cuddy Jamboree raises $30,000 for CORE
The 10th annual Jim Cuddy Jamboree hosted by Melody and Bill Duron at Lyric Pond in Mulmur on August 26 raised about $30,000 for CORE – Conserve our Rural Environment – and its effort to stop the Arbour Farms gravel pit proposed on Airport Road. About 300 people were in attendance to enjoy a gourmet buffet, Creemore Springs beer and the music of Jim Cuddy (top left), who was joined by his son Devin Cuddy (top left) and Andy Maize of the Skydiggers. Top right: Duron thanked attendees for their support and with the help of Noah MacEachern drew the name of the 50/50 winner. Tony Woodward donated $388 in winnings back to CORE.
