Big Heart Seniors, Sept. 1

We were all saddened with the news that a former member Russel Miller had passed.

We welcomed Joanne Sett, daughter of Art and Alinda Bishop.

Thirty-nine members were with us today and 50/50 draws were won by Joanne Sett, Jim Rigney, Ruth Lougheed, Evelyn Warden, Pat Broad, Marcia Cameron and Carol Tymchuk.

Five Moon Shots were played by Peter Gubbels, Ted Underhill x2, Jim Rigney and the travel prize went to Ron Laing.

Winners at cards were Ted Underhill, 290; Leona Hartling, 289; Peter Gubbels, 284; Morris Tymchuk, 284, with low going to Norma Johnston, 83. The chair prize went to Peter Gubbels.

Sept. 6 was our bus trip to Rama Casino and the winners of the two shared draws were Leona Hartling and Doreen McDonald, both ladies are excellent supporters of our bus trips and draw ticket sales, which help pay for our free dinners.
