Barefoot in the Park opens Oct. 14

The set’s up – including the skylight with a breathtaking view of New York City – at Grace Tipling Hall in Shelburne, and cast and crew are busy with technical and dress rehearsals in preparation for Opening Night for Barefoot in the Park this Friday. 

Corie and Paul Bratter, after a six-day honeymoon are moving into their fifth floor walk-up apartment.

Corie wants to build a nest. Paul wants to build a legal career. The furniture hasn’t arrived.

The telephone installer’s decidedly unenthusiastic about the five flights of stairs, not to mention the front stoop. Then, Corie’s mother arrives…

Barefoot in the Park by Neil Simon runs Friday, Oct. 14 and Saturday, Oct. 15 at 8 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 16 at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 21 and Saturday, Oct. 22 at 8 p.m.
