Halloween night in Creemore
Although Station on the Green will not be open this year on Halloween night, there should be a lot of activity on main street. Also the Creemore Log Cabin will be open from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for trick-or-treating.
People are encouraged to adopt a pumpkin from the Mill Street planters and use it to decorate at home or enter the pumpkin carving contest. Take it to Flowers by MS Design.
Honeywood Haunted House
Check out the Honeywood Haunted House on Halloween night at the Log Cabin, located at 706105 County Road 21.
The haunted house will be open from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
SCI presents The Dollhouse
Halloween Haunt at Stayner Collegiate Institute presents The Dollhouse.
On Friday, Oct. 28, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., people are welcome to walk the main floor of the school which will be transformed into a frightening dollhouse. There will be two options, one for people with small children and one that is scarier. Tickets are available at the door for $2 a person or $5 for a family of four.
Witches Walk in Stayner
The Witches Walk is a fun filled evening of dress up, prizes and shopping in downtown Stayner that takes place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28.
The event is a fundraiser for The Stayner Door Youth Center and $10 passports Passports will be available at participating merchants.
Puttin’ on the Ritz, zombie style
There will be a community Halloween party at the Legion on Saturday, Oct. 29.
Donna Baylis and her crew invite everyone to Puttin’ on the Ritz, zombie style. Costumes are encouraged. The party starts at 9 p.m. Admission is free with a donation of canned goods for the food bank.
