Sledge hockey team playing in Creemore Nov. 26

The Simcoe County Sliders sledge hockey team will take on the Ottawa Junior Senators at the Creemore Arena this Saturday. Puck drops at 3:30 p.m.

“It’s a great opportunity to come out and see a nation paralympic sport and see something new,” said club president Darren Cunliffe.

Admission is free.

The team is made up of players from all over Simcoe County between the ages of six to 16 and is part of the Ontario Sledge Hockey Association. The third annual event includes a silent auction. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Puck drops at 8 p.m. Tickets for the game cost $10, children five and under are admitted free.
