LCBO bags display student message

The Clearview Community Policing Committee launched its annual LCBO bag initiative, in time for the OPP’s Festive RIDE program. Elementary school students from Creemore Public School drew pictures on 6×6 pieces of paper depicting why drivers should choose to not drink and drive this holiday season. The pictures are reproduced and glued onto LCBO bottle bags. Distribution of the bags is done at the Creemore and Stayner LCBO stores during the Christmas season. This year, 250 bags were prepared for LCBO customers. Since 2009, the Clearview Community Policing Committee has distributed over 4000 bags.
