Township’s halls host a wide variety of events Sept. 27-30

The Small Halls Festival event guide has been released, promoting a number of activities happening at community halls in Clearview Township from Sept. 27-30.

A variety of entertainment, dining and activities are being offered throughout the weekend-long event. 

On stage will be country musician Andrew Hyatt, Shipyard Kitchen Party, Little Foot, Matt Gunn, Vaudevillian, Celtic Showcase, a staged reading of Stag and Doe and a murder mystery dinner theatre presented by Clearview Community Theatre as a kick-off to the Stayner library fundraising campaign. 

On the menu is a beer infused barbecue with chef Jeremy of Oliver and Bonacini, a Baron the Beef dinner, Taste of the Township food fair, a dinner at The New Farm, a kitchen ceilidh dinner featuring NUA, wine and cheese, and a number of country style breakfasts. 

Rounding out the weekend is bowling, euchre, hiking, horseshoes, chicken races, markets, circus and dance performance as well as live animals, and more. 

On Sunday, Sept. 30 take the back roads and explore the township’s halls during a car rally.

The event coincides with the Creemore Festival of the Arts, presented by Purple Hills Arts and Heritage Society, featuring shows at Station on the Green and Creemore Log Cabin and Artists on Location throughout the village.
