From the Hack: So the teams have been scrambled and the last session is now underway. While Bill was on holiday – at some exotic beach location this week – Peter and Joan filled the skips position for a game each. They both played extremely well and kept their opposition to only a one point difference final score! Marilyn, skip of Team Steed, made a few lovely shots to hold Team McDougall to a well-deserved tie. Teams Lambert and Loranger started this week with a check-mark in the win column! Good curling everyone!

From The Hack: The final evening of curling for the TD Bank Trophy proved to be exciting for the leaders. Team John Millsap needed a win to lock up first place and the trophy while Team Verstegen and Team Dave Millsap contested to see who would challenge the current leader. Unfortunately Team Russ Flack defeated Team John Millsap holding him in check while Team Dave Millsap defeated Team Verstegen in a closely fought match, which went down to the last stone. This win allowed Team Dave Millsap to tie things up with Team John Millsap and win the trophy because of his victory over John in their head to head match-up during round robin play. Congratulations to Team Dave Millsap winners of the Toronto Dominion Bank Trophy and in fact all curlers in a closely battled round of curling. Next in store is the Vice Skip round of curling where those curlers playing in the background will move up and show their stuff while past skips get to “Hurry Hard”.
