Daytime

From the Hack: On Monday morning it was cold in the ice shed. Teams Walker and Bell warmed up sufficiently, to easily beat Teams Martens and Loranger, respectively! On both sheets of ice, there were always eight to 10 stones out front, each end, for the skips to play with. Made for some excellent raises, some called… and some not! Apologies accepted!

Wednesday saw our first tie game. Jim and Ron, the skips for Teams Bell and Coulter, threw excellent takeout shots making for exciting ends. On Sheet 2, Bill, Marty, Karen and Gail, of Team Martens, laid down some superb shots enabling them to come from behind and beat Team Loranger. Good curling everyone!

From the Hack: It may have been Valentine’s Day, but there was no love lost on either sheet on Monday.

High scoring wins achieved by Teams Crawford and Verstegen. Back from curling retirement, Marie has almost perfected her draw and take out weights. First time vice Natalie looked confident and played well.
