Creedan Valley seeks humanitarian aid items for Ukraine

Creedan Valley Care Community staff is accepting donations of specific items in support of humanitarian aid in Ukraine in response to a call from the OLTCA (Ontario Long Term Care Association).

The first round of donations will be delivered to the Ivan Franko Home in Mississauga on Sunday, where they will be packaged by volunteers and flown directly to the Ukraine. All donations will make a difference and the community’s support is appreciated.

Items needed include: blankets; non-perishable food; medical supplies: syringes, gloves, gauze, masks etc.; protective military gear: tactical gloves and backpacks, helmets, bulletproof vests, knee pads; Celox medical products; warm socks, clothes, and footwear for men; thermal underwear; First Aid items and kits (no alcohol); cold medication; tapes and gauze; tents, sleeping bags and mats; candles and flashlights; AA and AAA batteries; tablets with cellular capability (used or any); water purification tablets.
