Team win-loss

Walker 4-0

Bell 2-2

Coulter 2-2

Gallaugher 2-2

McDougall 0-4

From the Hack: On Monday, both Bill and Heather, skips for Teams McDougall and Walker respectively, were missing from action. Liz stepped up for Team McDougall and Michael replaced Heather. Liz and Joan threw some excellent stones and had Team Walker concerned, especially after stealing the first three ends, with a score of four. Howard, Gail, Marty and Michael managed to claw their way back from that deficit, leading to a tie in the seventh end. Luckily Team Walker scored three in the eighth, to continue their winning ways – Heather will be so proud of her team! On sheet 2, Ron led Team Coulter to an easy victory over Team Gallaugher with his precise draw weight.

Wednesday had Teams Bell and Gallaugher winning their matches.

Good curling everyone!

Ladies

Team win-loss

Verstegen 5-1

Crawford 3-2

Mckay 3-2

Walker 2-4

Millsap 1-5

From the Hack: The winning streak continued as Team Verstegen wrapped up this draw with an impressive five- and-one record. Their opponent in next week’s championship game for the Foodland Trophy will be Team McKay, as determined by a tie-breaker game for second place. Nice job by Gabe as she made her debut as skip. Great to see consistent shots by rookies Angelina, Kate and Lawrie.
