Are locals amongst speed offenders?
Editor:
In response to a letter to the editor I wrote some time ago about speed reductions a person phoned me to take issue with my position. He has been at the forefront in lobbying for speed reductions, complaining about speeding in front of his property.During the conversation I asked how fast he drives and he admitted that in an 80 km/hr zone he regularly drives close to a 100 and his wife has to admonish him when goes over a 100. I makes me wonder how many other people who demand speed reductions obey speed limits when they pass other people’s property. As the saying goes, let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
