Clearview to fly Pride Flag

Clearview Council has received a communication from Fierté Simcoe Pride requesting a proclamation of Pride Season from July 25 to August 7, and a raising of the Pride Flag. Mayor Doug Measures advised council he would schedule the flag raising and inform members.

The theme of this year’s celebration is “Progress and Pride” highlighting the progress that has been made in acceptance of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans community and honouring the contributions of people of all gender and sexual diversities throughout Simcoe County. A new Intersex Progress Pride flag will replace the old rainbow flag.
