Anna Dinsmore is preparing to depart next week for Wyoming where she will take part in a 12-week mission before leaving for Central Asia to assist with agricultural and community needs for eight weeks.

The Creemore resident is taking part in Cowboys With a Mission (CWAM), affiliated with Youth With a Mission, and will be working on a ranch in Meeteetse, learning new skills through the faith based program.

“While we are supporting and helping the people with various projects, we will be fully submerging ourselves into their culture, living amongst the people. We will be dedicating our time and using our hands to change the lives of others,”said Dinsmore.

Se said health issues prohibited her from returning to university this year.

“I started to think about my passions in life and how I can apply them this year. One thing I love is taking care of people and spreading love and joy to everyone around me. I also love being outdoors and working with farm animals. Combining these passions together lead me to CWAM,” she said. “I am so thrilled to be embarking on this journey while I am also sad to leave my hometown and family. This journey will help me grow in so many areas of my life and I cannot wait to see where I end up.”

Dinsmore is fundraising in support of her mission trips.

“If any of you feel called to donate to my missions trip, you can do so through my GoFundMe page Missions Trip to Central Asia,” she said. “Most importantly I would love for prayer as I head out on this new journey!”
